Beautiful Spring

I took a drive into town today and saw the most beautiful signs of Spring. Some happy little daffodils; a huge red rhododendron heavy with saucer sized blooms. My own yard is showing signs as well. It's funny to me that daffodils are my favorite flower, yet I still haven't planted the drifts of them that I've visualized blooming here at my home. I think about it every fall and then, before you know it, it's winter again and no bulbs can be found!

For some time now, I've wanted to start a blog dedicated to my Grandmother and the things that she taught me. I think she loved Spring as much as I do. Today, seeing the bright yellow of the daffodils gave me such a lift that I decided it's the perfect time to launch the new blog. Spring, full of such hope and new beginnings. I hope that through my posts and my pictures that you can get to know my Grandmother Lillian and the life lessons she taught me. And I hope you get to know me as well!

I have so many things to share that I can't wait to get started.
